The $12 flexibility option
"Book It While It's Active" Rule: You can reserve a lesson date that falls after your plan expires — but you must book that future date while your current plan is still active.
The Surcharge: Any lesson scheduled outside your active plan period requires a $12 surcharge.
No "Expired" Booking: Once your plan expires, you cannot log in to use old credits. Credits cannot be saved from months ago and used later. If the lesson isn't on the calendar before your plan ends, the credit is forfeited.
A few different rules apply for summer packages — read before booking
May – September window only. Summer package lessons can be booked and used any time between May and September 6th, 2026. You are not locked to a strict 4-week window like monthly plans — you have the full summer to schedule your 12 lessons.
14 weeks, no surcharge. Your package covers 12 consecutive weeks of lessons plus 2 extra “wiggle room” weeks for makeups — that’s 14 weeks total with no surcharge. You can book makeups freely within this window at any location.
$12 surcharge after 14 weeks — but only before September 6th. If you need to schedule a makeup lesson beyond your 14-week window, a $12 surcharge per lesson applies. This only applies to lessons still scheduled before September 6th.
September 6th, 2026 — hard expiration, no exceptions. All summer package credits, including any remaining wiggle room makeups, are permanently forfeited after September 6th. There is no surcharge option past this date — unused credits simply expire. Plan accordingly.
Connellsville (Blue Canoe) closes August 18th. Blue Canoe is an outdoor pool and closes for the season on August 18th. If you plan to use credits only at Connellsville, all lessons must be completed by August 18th. You can always travel to Greensburg or another location to use remaining credits through September 6th.
Your lesson becomes a credit
The lesson is added back to your plan as a credit.
Within Plan: Use it at any location or time during your current plan for no extra charge.
Outside Plan: Use it after your plan ends by paying the $12 surcharge, provided you reserve the spot before your plan expires.
Makeups are possibly available but not guaranteed. We offer makeups as a goodwill gesture based on open slots — this is a courtesy, not something we are required to provide.
Portal cancellations only
Cancellations must be done through the portal. Emailing Vicky does not count.
The portal is designed to be simple — just log in and hit cancel.
Failure to cancel via the portal results in a $10 no-show fee per lesson charged to your card on file.
No Refunds. Wildlife Water School does not offer refunds for any reason. Our credit system is designed to be flexible while also taking into account that consistency is important — so while life happens, we ask that you work within our scheduling policies to keep things fair for everyone.
Our core value is accommodation. We aren't here to be unfair — we know life happens! If you have a unique situation, please reach out with a simple explanation. While these policies are the main rules we follow to keep our business running, Miss Vicky is an understanding person and has the sole discretion to allow for flexibility when families are honest and communicative with us.
